Heritage in Every Glove
The story of The Cabretta Collection begins long before the name appeared on a glove tab. In 2008, our team launched a single cabretta leather glove line in Central Texas under the Crosswind Golf brand. What started as a local, grass-roots product grew into a nationwide program serving private clubs, university golf teams, corporations, and tournaments from coast to coast.
Over more than a decade, that original pattern was tested, refined, and re-engineered - from how the panels lay across the fingers, to the way the leather is tanned, cut, and sewn, to how the wrist feels at impact. Each production run was a chance to improve the one glove we wanted players to trust everywhere.
In 2026, that evolution became its own chapter. The Cabretta Collection was officially founded as a dedicated, premium line: tour-grade cabretta leather, a full-wrap elastic wrist band for a more connected feel, and a reinforced leather pull tab at the base of the glove that lets you pull it on firmly without stretching the cuff.
While the name on the tab has changed, the team and philosophy have not. We still finish and assemble in the USA alongside skilled partners in embroidery, sewing, and printing, making it possible to run small-batch, custom programs with the kind of turnaround times usually reserved for off-the-rack gloves.
Today, The Cabretta Collection represents the best of that journey - a modern, luxury glove line grounded in years of quiet, incremental improvements and relationships built one order at a time.
